Curriculum Development

  • Developed a variety of curricula for ages Kindergarten through 12th grade (e.g. instrumental performance, age-appropriate theory concepts, and music history).

  • Designed cross-curricular learning linking music to math, history, science, and language arts.

Students with Special Needs

  • Adapted instruments and instructional techniques to meet the needs of students with physical challenges (muscular dystrophy, hearing and visual impairment, etc.).

  • Collaborated with local and national business owners to secure equipment that could be used to modify instruments for students with physical handicaps.
